This weekly column is updated every Tuesday

Your personal number for 2008 (you keep this number for the entire year) is obtained by adding 2008 to your month and day of birth. For example, if you were born on May 31, add 5 + 3 + 1 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 8 = 19. Keep adding until you reach a single digit. 1 + 9 = 10. 1+0=1.. In this example, your number for 2008 would be 1. It applies to both your Monthly and Weekly Forecasts.

 Be willing to listen, observe, and cooperate. This cycle has much to teach about your own and other people’s power, and how little can be achieved when power, of any kind, is out of balance. Ask yourself: Is this how life is supposed to be? What is stopping me from living by my own design? How am I connected to these people? Don’t distract yourself from reality because that was what enabled the great imbalance to develop in the first place.

 Let your true feelings express themselves, privately and safely, and remember that guilt causes us to suppress our emotions, especially anger. There is nothing wrong with anger unless it is held down and unable to move. When it is denied like that, it accumulates and then evolves into rage, and then hatred. And then, all that backed up emotion finds a way to burst out aggressively or, if that too is held down, it can develop into illness. This cycle helps you recognize the guilt that is keeping your feelings trapped.

  Observe yourself closely and, in as much detail as possible, notice the rut you’re in. This cycle makes you aware of what is causing the standstill. It is up to you to start doing what you want to do. Something seems to be getting in the way, but you may be placing it there yourself - stalling for time perhaps? Visualize what you desire, and then work backwards to determine what must be done to make it happen.

 Your thoughts and feelings are constantly changing. They are never the same for long enough to understand what’s really going on in your head, heart, home or workplace. Your thoughts are fragmented because you are not giving your feelings enough time to complete themselves. Now, an intense emotional movement can provide some much needed clarity - a moment of truth.

More cooperation is needed, but this can only be achieved by accepting people and situations exactly as they are. This does not mean embracing anything you believe to be ‘wrong’, but it does mean accepting its existence and how it makes you feel. Some people have a natural live-and-let-live attitude while others find it more difficult to accept diversity. Upholding the right to be oneself is an important responsibility - for all of us.

 You need a new approach or strategy, but it is difficult to know where your loyalties lay or how to regain control of something that seems to be slipping away. Be patient. Make every effort to understand alternative views and opinions. Do not confuse anger with hate. In fact, the anger you are experiencing now is more likely to be an expression of love - love that wants the truth, not denial. This understanding will give you more influence than you thought you had.

You seem less inclined to take things at face value and more determined to go deeper into the facts. Acceptance of reality is vital now. You want to do the right thing, but you must find a way to curtail one thing without jeopardizing another. Make your choices with the understanding that where you are now is the result of previous choices and that, from now on, you must choose what is right for your overall wellbeing.

Something must be faced, accepted, dealt with, ended or completed before you can proceed comfortably again. A deeper understanding of balance is needed. Free Will, independence, communication and openness are emphasized - as well as getting your priorities in the right order. Others will believe in you to the same degree that you believe in yourself. Do not push yourself or anyone else too hard.

 Look at the circumstances from a different angle and you will be amazed at the insight you gain. Honesty is your greatest strength: about how you feel, how your feelings have changed over time; who you once were, who you are now; what you were once capable of, what you are capable of now, and what you could be capable of in the future. Be honest with yourself. Get something heavy off your chest - and/or encourage someone else to do the same.
