1: Something alluring – or shocking – can widen your view of life. This is a cycle of transformation – sudden and gradual, long-term and short-term. Changes must be made to your beliefs about wealth, power, freedom, fairness and survival. Your main responsibility is to generally take care of yourself, otherwise you will lack the energy or inclination to take care of anything else.

2. We each stand on different ground and therefore see things from slightly, or radically, different angles. We believe our own point of view is accurate. But there are no points of view in reality – just reality. Anything else is mere judgment, opinion, dogma or obsession, which comes from seeing only a small part of the big picture. You can now recognize your own extremes – by the level at which you expect others to see things as you do.

3: Slow down. Take a break. Restore your energy. Analyze the situation. Organize the facts. Make a workable short-term plan. Regroup. If you find yourself thinking the worst, try to understand that optimism serves an important purpose right now. Your feelings are valid and real, including those feelings of hope that you seem reluctant to trust. But you must trust them. They are trying to show you what needs to be feared and, just as importantly, what does not.

4: Proceed in a way which actually gives you a chance to succeed. If you feel that you are spinning out of control, remember that ‘spinning’ is the last tactic of avoidance. You can no longer avoid the fact that an old habit, behavior, belief or fear has been preventing you from taking better care of your own interests. You know you must get more organized, but when do you intend to do so? As the saying goes, there’s no time like the present!

5: Notice how your presence or circumstances affect other people. Notice, also, the feedback you get from your words because, in this cycle, words are a gift from life. It is up to you how you use them – for better, for worse, to heal, to hurt – or not at all. Form your own opinions, but do so on the basis of accurate information. Be patient with yourself as you become more flexible, adapt to new realities, and start looking at life through more mature eyes.

6: In order to choose wisely, you have to listen to your heart as well as your head. You have to feel as well as think. And you have to know when to rest and when to work – and when to turn your attention to unrelated matters. This cycle holds important lessons involving independence, fact-checking, and not allowing your fear of making a mistake to get in the way of an opportunity. Remember that where there’s a Will, there’s always a way.

7: The powers of patience, planning, and right timing are emphasized, and this cycle provides great insight into these aspects. Slow yourself down to a pace that enables you to notice more of what is happening, and to respond more realistically to what you notice. A previously hidden dimension of your life is likely to be discovered now, which will make it obvious to you that you cannot possibly plan for every eventuality.

8: Do not lose hope as you come face to face with your own inexperience (and possibly someone else’s). Rather than give up on an idea or goal, or believe that a certain task is beyond your capabilities, give yourself more time to learn what needs to be learned, and be determined to learn it. Guilt and blame are unnecessary. This is an opportunity to rearrange or change things so that you can benefit from an existing situation or talent.

9. Wherever you happen to be is a starting point from which to plan your way into a future that is more reflective of your true nature. Notice your unvarying daily actions – and what, if anything, is gained from this repetition. An exhausting routine is the result of past issues that have not been acknowledged, attended to, or concluded. Before you can move forward, you must determine which way forward is.

3: You are being restricted by rules that seem inappropriate for the reality you’re dealing with. Most damaging is the belief that you don’t deserve to live freely, or that circumstances don’t allow you to speak freely. To reach a specific goal, or simply be freer than you are, you must believe that you have within you the power to make it happen and, at the same time, be sensitive to other people’s needs and feelings.

4: Your sense of purpose is emphasized, and you may want to bottle up your feelings and pretend you’re in control. But the need to control is part of the problem. Go deeper into your feelings. Are you angry with yourself for having what you think are unreasonable expectations? If you are prepared to adjust your ideas to fit reality, there is nothing unreasonable about them. 6: How can you turn this tedious game of ‘wait and see’ into something more positive? You can finish things, tie up loose ends, and make yourself useful, that’s how! 1: Pay attention to detail and don’t jump to conclusions (pre-judge). You may want to set some protective rules, but controlling the problem is not the same as solving it, and too much control can lead to extreme behavior which can make matters worse. Give credit where it is due, respect the reality of others, and be honest about the effect you are having on each other. How you express yourself now can have a lasting influence.

2.Life is slowing you down to the very degree that you are moving too fast. The various ways you are connected to others have created a unique dynamic in your life, and the question is: how do you deal compassionately with someone else’s feelings when yours may be suffering? Look beneath the surface appearance of others. The quality of your own life is important, but this cycle emphasizes the quality of your relationships.

3: Life is making you aware of how afraid you are of a past situation repeating itself – or of something that hasn’t happened yet, and perhaps never will! This particular fear is real, but it will hold you back until you recognize its existence and understand its cause. You need to go back to that point in your life in which this fear was originally triggered. Only there, at the root, can it be healed. So, stop trying to block those memories. Let them flow.

4: Determine which obligations are actually yours, because if you are unsure of what you are responsible for, “being responsible” can make you feel guilty about something that you cant quite pinpoint. Adapt quickly to a new reality. Notice where your thoughts do not match your feelings. Being emotionally honest can release a lot of pressure and provide a solution to a problem you may think cannot be solved. Be fair to yourself and others.

2012 is not the end of the world. It is the end of a system – the class system – that has brought our world to a state of such inequality, unfairness and imbalance, that we can no longer survive without drastic changes of priority and direction. In 2012, it will finally dawn on those who are currently controlling life on Earth that a huge portion of the population is wide awake, powerful, watching their every move, and angry! And yet, the majority of people are proceeding in a peaceful and solution-oriented way, with determination and hope for a better future. Humanity’s desire for real and positive change is starting to outweigh our primitive need for revenge and our inclination for war.

Anger is not meant to be used as a weapon. Anger is a natural reaction to pain – and pain takes many forms. Anger is a vital emotion which pushes us to find solutions to problems that are hurting us. When properly understood, anger is an instrument of constructive change – and constructive change is what 2012 is all about.

The fact that life doesn’t have to be this way has penetrated mass consciousness. The emotional antenna of humanity has kicked into gear and people are starting to feel and sense the truth, rather than rely on others to tell us what’s what and go passively along with the program.

We are all fellow travelers on the road of life, but we are not all the same. 2012 is a 5 global year (2+0+1+2=5), and 5 represents everything that is “different”.

5 is the number of DIVERSITY. The acceptance of diversity is the acceptance of differences, which is PEACE.

5 is the number of ACTION. 5 is alive with movement. 5 is a hive of activity. In 2012, this means facing reality and having the faith to steer ourselves along unbeaten paths that we’re creating as we go. We need to be fully engaged now, and ready to adjust to new and unexpected realities. If we just watch everything unfold on the TV or internet like it’s some kind of entertainment, we’ll be very shocked when suddenly we are part of what is unfolding.

We are going to have to be at our most resourceful and creative. And out of this, we will develop STYLE. Our individual styles have been washed away by mediocrity, uniformity, monotony, and sameness. To be who we are, we must heal our fear of being different.

The main symbol of 5 is the shape of a pentagon. No doubt we’ll be seeing a lot of America’s military headquarters in 2012 as it is the largest pentagon-shaped structure on Earth. From the very start of 2012 there has been talk of invading Iran. But, on January 5, President Obama announced a reduction in defense spending. “After a decade of war, we are turning a new page… the tide of war is receding”, he said. Let’s hope so. He also spoke of learning from mistakes, which is a major principle of the 5 energy. We will see. Time will tell.

The pentagon shape also resembles a house. With so many people homeless now, and so many houses just sitting empty all over the world, something innovative needs to be done to help people attain the basic need of shelter.

Towards the end of 2011, (a 4 global year symbolized by the natural shape of the square), the Occupy Movement in the USA and other countries started to move in that direction by occupying foreclosed homes. The Occupy Movement, the Arab Spring and other extraordinary uprisings of the human will, all emerged out of city squares, plazas and parks. That movement must expand now. The square symbolizes limitation and breakthrough. The protesters (pioneers) certainly came up against limitation in 2011, but they also achieved many important breakthroughs that have set the stage for the changes yet to come. Which direction will this movement take now that the limited square has transformed into a pentagon and 5-pointed star?

The pentagon and 5 pointed star (pentagram) are highly representative of the military and corporations, and are widely used in advertising, sports and politics. The flags of many nations contain 5-pointed stars. China’s flag has 5. The American flag has 50!

but, most importantly,

EVERY BODY IS A STAR!

5 teaches us about the physical aspects of life, including our own physical bodies, the wellbeing of which is likely to be a major issue this year. The body is the vehicle which transports us through this journey called ‘physical life’, and we need to learn how to take proper care of it. 5 is the number of ALTERNATIVES – and various areas of alternative medicine are likely to make great inroads now as its practitioners expand their knowledge – despite the attempts of the pharmaceutical and medical industries to stop it. Alternative Fuel could significantly impact the energy industry this year – despite the attempts of big oil, coal and gas to stop it. Wherever we have been going wrong in the world and in our personal lives, the 5 energy enables us to find alternative routes and approaches. 5 is the number of CHOICE; the basis of freedom.

As we become more aware of our true needs in life (as opposed to what the system tells us we need and then removes our choices) there is likely to be a great emphasis on the damage done to our food supply by corporations such as Monsanto, and the pollution caused by industry and consumerism in general. There is likely to be a LOT of anger as the truth finally sinks in and moves the population to change things.

This is the year when PEOPLE really start to understand themselves, inside and out. 2012 is the year in which we have the opportunity to BECOME the change we want in the world. 5 is the number of CHANGE. 5 is the number of OPPORTUNITY. As our knowledge expands, we will find solutions. 5 is the number of RESOURCEFULNESS.

For the past 12 years, ‘we the people’ have been rapidly developing our sensory system – our inner radar – the emotional circuitry which runs through the body and meets with the spirit in the heart. The heart is the point of LOVE within the body where the physical connects to the metaphysical – mind and emotion. It is from the heart that we develop perspective and broaden our view of life.

People are realizing how limited and frozen our points of view have been. We have looked at life from the shallow standpoint of materialism but are realizing that our potential as human beings is so much more than that. Through the rise of our emotional feminine energy, we are feeling much more deeply into life. As we develop DEPTH through the love in our hearts, shallowness falls away and huge waves of heartlessness are exposed. Our hearts need to be reset because right now they beat in accordance with a dying system. Only warmth can counter coldness. Only love can counter hate. Heartlessness is life without feeling; light without love.

Science itself is going to change because science made an assumption that is fatally flawed – that life on Earth is a purely physical experience. It is becoming increasingly difficult to explain the laws of physics without bringing metaphysics into it. The prefix ‘meta’ means ‘beyond’. In an interview with New Scientist Magazine this January, world famous physicist and author of “A Brief Moment In Time”, Stephen Hawking, was asked what he most thinks about. He answered, “Women. They are a complete mystery.” ..…and therein lies the biggest problem that science has. The inability to progress beyond the physical or even consider the essential role that feminine energy – emotion – plays in the fabric and vibration of life.

The problems we created in the era we are evolving from will not disappear of their own accord. We cannot progress until we recognize our mistakes, learn from them, stop making them, and move in a different direction. We severely limit ourselves when we assume we should already know the answers. As evolving beings, the learning never ends.

5 operates by learning ‘from experience’ – from discerning what works and what doesn’t. 5 is the number of the inquisitive scientist – and in case you didn’t realize it, there is a scientist in all of us. It is that part of us that is looking for truth; the part of us that needs to understand.

In 2012, we will have an array of new experiences for which we have no previous experience to guide us. Some may be painful and shocking. Others may be exciting and joyful. Whatever the case, this year’s experiences will broaden our potential even more. 5 is the number of EXCITEMENT, ADVENTURE, CURIOSITY, and DISCOVERY, and it is important to remember that AWARENESS OF REALITY is the best safety net we could possibly have.

The past, present, and future are converging in 2012, bringing us into present time in a most unusual, ‘strange’, and all encompassing way. Issues of the past are being buffeted into the present so that we can learn from them, heal from them, and create a future that is based on what we have learned. This mirrors the convergence of body, mind and emotion going on within our hearts. This activity will accelerate significantly in 2012.

Memory Lane is a passageway to emotional healing, but we cannot dwell there. We must develop the firm intent to let the past go. The intent to heal all that unexpressed emotional energy is how the healing starts. Only then can we put the past behind us where it belongs, lighten our load, and move forward. We will learn this year, first hand, that what we did in the past creates the present and what we do in the present creates the future.

5 is the number of FREEDOM – and while it is true that freedom is what most human beings aspire to, we must be careful not to define freedom on too broad or narrow a scale. Freedom for one could feel like hell to another. As election after election takes place all over the world this year, the word freedom is going to be used, abused and twisted for political gain. The controlling few are trying to pull us back to the past, to times-gone-by, when people were so much easier to control. Be aware.

A huge numeric shift took place when we moved from the millennial vibrations of the 1000s into those of the 2000s. This massive transfer of energy has taken us 12 of our linear years to acknowledge, feel and accept. Our evolution from 1 to 2 now brings us into the year the whole world has been waiting for. 2012 – the year in which whatever is going to happen will happen – but perhaps not in the way we expect. 5 is the number of the UNEXPECTED, the UNFORESEEN, and the UNPREDICTABLE.

Those in control, the infamous 1% who cannot accept that they are part of the 100%, will do everything they can to prevent this shift from a purely ‘man’s world’ into a world brought into balance by an infusion of the feminine. Resistance to this shift is the fundamental cause of most of the turmoil going on in the world today.

With all of its ups and downs and unexpected turnarounds, 5 is not the most stable of paths to travel. Anything can happen. The fact that 2012 is a leap year makes things even more shaky and volatile. Leap years occur every 4 years so that the calendar remains in alignment with Earth’s motion around the sun. An extra day is added – February 29 – and this ‘hiccup’ causes an energetic ‘wobble’ in the flow of time which cannot help but effect the flow of life. We last experienced a leap year in 2008 – a year of much upheaval in the world, the year the free market (capitalism) imposed its failures on the people in the form of bail-outs and so-called ‘austerity’ measures. 2008 was the year the sub-prime mortgage crisis impacted the USA and then the world. At the end of 2008, Barack Obama was voted the first black president of the United States, creating a massive rise in people’s feelings along the entire emotional spectrum. There was a lot of hatred mixed up in all that jubilation. 2008 was a 1 year in the world – an important BEGINNING to the current leg of our journey. It was the year in which humanity found the enormous power of emotion and, one way or another, was deeply moved.

2008 was also the year that 69,000 people were killed in one earthquake alone, in China, but we did not hear much about that enormous loss of life because of the cloak of secrecy under which China operates. It is safe to assume that Mother Earth will continue to move and shake in whatever way allows her to heal from the onslaught of abuse we have imposed on her, and continue to do!

Notice that we are now at the halfway mark of the journey that began in 2008. 1, 2, 3, and 4 have gone. 5 is dead center – the balance point – and 6, 7, 8 and 9 are yet to come. We now need to lean emphatically in the direction we want this journey to go. We are the only ones who can tip this delicate balance in the right direction.

The last time we were in a 5 global year was 2003 – the year of the Iraq war. We have a chance to do things very differently this time around, as the very same arguments that took us into Iraq are now being made for an attack on Iran.

Our millennial journey from 1 to 2 is taking us from secrecy and isolationism to openness and connection. It was secrecy that enabled the old system to flourish for so long. It is taking us from the big LIE that this crumbling system has always been, into HONESTY. Honesty is what feelings are.

By the end of 2011, the people of China, Burma and Russia were spontaneously rising up against oppression and slavery. The emotional energy of the entire population on Earth has been moved by the pain of not being allowed to be the free spirits we really are.

The 2000s ushered in an era of equality and balance in which the vibration of our feelings open the space that consciousness needs in order to expand. This is why women are under attack on so many fronts all over the world. The controlling few cannot allow feminine energy to expand because such an evolution, such change, would render them irrelevant in terms of what they believe relevance to be.

Feminine energy is our FREE WILL, and we are well aware that the WILL of the people is anything but free. It never was. In 2012, we will experience the power of our personal and collective WILL as never before. The battered, bruised and abused Will of humanity is starting to heal – because it is starting to feel.

Creativity and evolution are working together. They are part of the same process of growth, but at different speeds. 1 is the number of change through progressive, one-step-at-a-time action. 5 is also the number of change – the sudden and unexpected kind that occurs through seemingly random events. In this year’s convergence of time, it may be difficult to tell which is which.

We must learn as we go in the 5 energy, so that our mistakes become channels of self-education, not self-torture. We allow ourselves to be beaten up by guilt, the only objective of which is to punish. Guilt is not an emotion. Guilt is judgment we make against ourselves, often without realizing it, which stops us from taking the most basic steps. We don’t need guilt to tell us what is right and wrong. We need loving intention in our hearts, and the desire to do the right thing no matter what the circumstances.

If your idea of freedom excludes caring about others, denied guilt is in play. Denied guilt says “I don’t care about other people’s suffering”, but the love within really does care, and so love gets denied, too. There is no freedom in pure selfishness.

5 is the number of FREEDOM – not freedoms. By pluralizing the word freedom, we diminish its meaning and dilute its effectiveness. And by defining freedom for others is to deny freedom altogether. In 2012, it is not enough to simply talk about freedom. It is a year in which we must strive to be as free as possible no matter what our circumstances happen to be. We must encourage others to be free as well, even if their idea of freedom does not match our own. We must learn to live and let live.

As this 12-year journey out of denial continues, not only are we coming face to face with our own guilt, but are also gaining a deeper understanding of the healing power of forgiveness. Life is too short to bear grudges. That is what keeps us locked in the past.

Everyone is becoming more resourceful now, and there are likely to be some very convincing tactics used to sway people in one direction or another. Never forget that this failing system is engaged in a major war against each one of us – the war to capture our HEARTS and MINDS with misinformation and propaganda. What they did not bargain for or prepare for was the response of our emotions which represent TRUTH within.

We must be very aware of those who are so afraid of losing possession and position, so afraid of change, so afraid of the unknown, that they will go to the most extreme lengths to prevent this natural change from 1 to 2, from alpha to beta, from imbalance to equality, from war to peace. 5 is the number of the unforeseen – the unknown, and people are very afraid of that.

It took us 12 years into the new millennium to put 1 and 1 together and make 2, all the time wondering why the number 11 was so visible in our lives. It took us 12 years to connect the dots and accept that life as we knew it is over. Our task now is to create a new form of living based on what we have learned from previous experience which is supportive, not destructive.

The damage done to Mother Earth will be more apparent than ever this year because 5 is the number of the physical, and Mother Earth is the physical plane that sustains us. Mother Earth is feminine energy manifest, and she is in the process of healing from the unrelenting abuse she has taken in order to feed our addictions.

In traditional numerology, 5 warns against the over-use of alcohol, drugs, and gambling but, in the course of time, we have developed many other addictions, technological ones especially, from which we need to detach ourselves if we are to be free. This includes TV, the internet, phones and other devices which occupy our lives to an unnecessary degree and keep us tied to this collapsing system. Technology must have its place in the 2000s, but it must serve us, not own us.

The principle characteristics of 2 include the chemistry that occurs when ideas and ideals, cultures and beliefs, gifts and needs are combined. 2 is the number of cooperation, not competition. 2 brings us from pure selfishness to truly caring; from isolation to connection. From I AM to WE ARE. That is the only way for the fabric of humanity to pull itself together and heal.

1: As one phase of your life comes to an end and a new one begins, you probably feel optimistic, adventurous, raring to go – and anxious. Just be aware that whatever was not dealt with last year will follow you into the new year, and will have to be tackled as the journey unfolds. In at least one case, you seem to need more time to sort things out. The good news is that time really is on your side right now. Pace yourself sensibly so that you can accurately assess where you stand.

2.Your fears will turn to courage once you accept your reality exactly as it is. The more sincere your desire for change, the more aware you will be that it’s all going to take more time to understand and transform. Patience does not always mean putting up with adverse conditions. Right now, it means noticing just how important the details are, and embracing the optimism that arises from that.

3: This practical cycle reminds you that it is your right and responsibility to seek fulfillment, and that nobody owes you a thing when it comes to creating what you want. Your potential for more personal satisfaction is expanding but, first, you will have to face and work through an issue that is making you unhappy. Look for ways to balance your day-to-day activities with your growing need for change. Notice those areas of your life that are becoming less desirable. Remember that knowledge is only power when it is correctly understood – and it seems that you really do want to understand!

8: Stop clinging to what is not working, and look for a more effective approach. It will take more time and knowledge to change course successfully, but you can at least look forward to living with your hands or heart no longer tied! Avoid confrontation. Be honest with yourself as to what you are truly feeling, including your fears, and the way forward will dawn on you.

9. This cycle emphasizes who you really are, why you are here, how best to use your natural talents, and how to evolve into a more powerful individual. After last year’s journey of endings, drama, and deep feelings, you now need to find your bearings and accept not only whatever your present reality happens to be, but also the way it is making you feel. This is not the best time to push matters ahead. It will take more time for you to understand the nature of this new era of your life. During this ‘waiting’ month, try to be patient, observant, and considerate of the needs of others. Explain to them that you intend to make a fresh start this year, and that something – or everything – must change.

Communicate your intentions clearly and diplomatically, even if you are not yet sure of what you want to change. Let others express their feelings too, and keep in mind that you may need each other’s support throughout the year. In terms of how you get along with someone else, January offers the first positive new beginning of the year.

This is a time to both give and seek cooperation, to find some common ground and create a spirit of partnership and teamwork. This cycle of connectedness is pointing out that when an action is taken in one area, it creates ripples of energy that effect all areas. Cause and effect are always at work and, this month, the degree to which you relate to and cooperate with others will be returned to you later in the year, and possibly by people other than those with whom you must cooperate now.

This is an opportunity to create ‘good’ karma, on the understanding that karma is just another word for cause and effect. For instance, imagine being in a crowd situation in which you are being pushed by the person behind you or next to you. The tendency is to blame this person instead of the one at the back who made the original push and created a domino effect. Fear of being crushed then develops into hostility between you and the ones closest to you. Always look for the real cause of any discomfort you are feeling.

This year holds many lessons in the appreciation of individuality and humanity’s amazing diversity. Your understanding of life comes from your experience of it, and your feelings are how you experience life. However, your feelings and your thoughts are not the same thing, and it is necessary to know the difference between them and allow them to come together in loving alignment. Knowing what you think and feel is the only way to be free, otherwise you will forever be in a state of confusion as your controlling masculine mind tells you one thing, while your freedom-loving feminine feelings long for something else.

Focus on personal relationships so that a mutual acceptance can be reached; so that peace is in the air and there is a relaxed feeling between all concerned; so that love can flourish – or be found. Make this a gentle month. Force nothing.

Pay attention to those time-consuming details. Look for important connections and clues in all that is happening within and around you. The circumstances of someone else can provide great insight. Take a back seat. Quietly observe. Get a sense of what is really going on inside the complexity of your own reality. From what may seem an unlikely source, you will find a missing link – a connection – between something that appears to have little to do with you, and the course you will be taking for several years. January invites you to find the link between your past and your future which, of course, can only be understood in the present.

You are not responsible for other people’s problems, and they are not responsible for yours. However, the people in your life this month are here to connect you to specific realities and questions which need attention. The answers lie within you, not them.

Slow down. Relax. Instead of judging by appearances or making assumptions, allow yourself to feel what is going on. Go deeply into the situation and notice how your dependencies and insecurities (fears) influence your mood, behavior, and your tendency to believe one thing over another.

January is a social cycle. If you receive an invitation, accept it. Or perhaps you are in a position to issue an invitation. Remember that others cannot read your mind. They cannot know what you need or where you stand unless you tell them. Solutions can be found through open communication and you will need to both express yourself and listen

It pays to be diplomatic this month. In fact, if you do not choose your words carefully, you may wish you had not opened your mouth at all. If you do find yourself “blurting” something out, treat it as an important lesson. We all have some ignorance in us – we are all quite capable of ignoring the reality of something or someone.

This is a time to count your blessings, but guilt may tell you that it’s wrong to feel in any way gratified while others are suffering. This shows that guilt serves no constructive purpose and appears to want to bring everyone down. Feel all your feelings as they arise, including the ones that feel good

This cycle responds to lightheartedness, optimism, creativity, friendliness, and the warmth shared between individuals who, at least, have the desire and intent for peace. This year, regardless of what is going on in the world, you will be patiently seeking a way to do what you want in life, where and when you want to do it, in your own style, and on your own terms; to be responsible for solving your own problems and to decline responsibilities that are not yours. In other words, you are seeking ways to rescue and heal your own free will. In order to succeed, you will have to stop pre-judging yourself – and others. This level of Free Will is the key to PEACE – and that is something else you’ll be learning a lot about this year.

For now, see yourself as equal to everyone else – a fellow traveler on the road of life. This will help you to realize just how much you allow other people’s judgments to stop you thinking and acting for yourself. There is no need for confrontation. Remember that life is a blend of mental, emotional, and physical energies. A balance among them must be reached in your heart.

If you are intellectually inclined, or if you spend too much time alone thinking and worrying, go out and experience physical and social activity. If you do not like to be alone, or give little thought to the deeper meaning of life, it is time to slow down and take a month-long inner journey which, by the way, you will not regret at all.

January offers a deeper understanding of the one magnificent connected organism that life is – and of which WE are all individual parts. Accepting reality moment-by-moment, no matter how it feels, and whether it changes or stands still, is the key to successfully navigating your way through this slow, sensitive, stay-in-the-background, low-energy year.

Personal happiness and fulfillment are this year’s themes. And yet now, here you are, face to face with a major source of unhappiness – a situation that is far from fulfilling. Last year taught you the value of patience and, this month, you can ease a lot of frustration by incorporating it as far as your long-term goals are concerned! You may find yourself working very hard, physically, mentally, or emotionally, as you encounter a barrier to your happiness that can no longer be ignored or tolerated

Your limits have been reached and it is very clear that things cannot stay as they are. No matter how angry, hurt, or afraid you feel, aggression cannot help matters, but that does not mean you should not make your feelings known. It is possible to be both assertive and diplomatic. No matter what the situation, approach others in a peaceful way and try to create an atmosphere in which everyone involved can express themselves with ease.

This cycle urges you to start simplifying your life – making it easier – not more complicated – and this means facing realities that you’ve been avoiding. It also means being practical, getting organized, and using existing resources to get what you need. Be inventive. For instance: selling unwanted items may help bring order to your finances. Combining your efforts with someone else can accomplish a task that neither of you could accomplish alone. If you need to rest, REST! Take some time off – without guilt – and don’t take it too personally if a certain responsibility is taken off your hands.

Frustration (anger) is building because so much emphasis was placed on others last year that your basic needs and desires were neglected. But it is not a matter of changing other people. A change must take place within you to which others will have to adapt. This includes changing the way you react to other people. Despite the fact that certain people and situations were constantly grinding on your nerves last year, you had to be very patient – to the extent that many of your feelings were ignored and shoved back down inside you.

Acceptance of these buried feelings can help you develop an optimistic frame of mind and the courage to take charge of your own life – even if the people closest to you seem to be undermining you right now. The real problem is that you want to please these people and your not pleasing them is making you feel guilty. Guilt turns love into resentment, and then into hatred. It prevents you from experiencing anything that feels good. Guilt tells you that feeling good is wrong. Then it contradicts itself by telling you that you were foolish for not doing what you wanted to do in the first place

There is no such thing as healthy guilt. If your intention is to be loving, and this includes being loving to yourself, then guilt must not be allowed a place in your life. Guilt’s theme song is “I’m damned if I do, and I’m damned if I don’t”, and it’s not a pretty tune.

Self-acceptance is the only antidote to guilt, and that means accepting your right to exist as you are – which is the ultimate lesson of the 3 year cycle. The potential for happiness is all around you and you must get out of the box you think you’re trapped in and reach out for it. Ask yourself: “What will make me happy? What do I want?”

Certain plans and ideas can now be put into action. January’s emphasis on hard work represents the very foundation of this year’s journey away from the chains of guilt and toward the joys of your own innocence. Get organized. Start building the foundation for – actually start to create – something you want.

We are never prepared for what we expect.

Your journey has shifted from the light, fast and open 3 year into the slow down-to-earth energy of the 4 year. The circumstances of last year enabled you to move closer to fulfilling a goal. The circumstances of this year will reveal the determination and hard work it takes to bring a goal to fruition. January in the 4 year often brings restlessness, confusion and an ominous feeling that much is expected of you. Your freedom to move back and forth or communicate, may be compromised. Hastiness or aggression will not make things move any faster. Effort and attention to detail are needed as you encounter delays, obstacles and unusual or ‘different’ situations.

No matter how prepared you believed you were, you now realize that the effort involved is either greater than you thought or different than you imagined. You are in the complex process of building the life you want – and it is now becoming apparent (and perhaps shockingly so), that you will have to reassess and redesign your current reality. Don’t be discouraged by all the work involved. If you keep the big picture in mind, you will know exactly what has to be done. With continued effort and belief in yourself, you can turn this month’s frustration into a springboard for future success.

January is a month of change and this brings opportunity, which may be disguised as something else. Look beyond what is immediately apparent and see the different potential on offer. Take it slowly and calmly. Pay attention to the details and, despite some confusing distractions, try to focus on one thing at a time.

This month’s unpredictable vibrations are likely to send you a new experience or set of circumstances through which to expand your horizons. You may find yourself in a situation that is new to you, or you may have to take care of issues you never had to deal with before. Another fact is that you need freedom: not freedom from your responsibilities but, rather, the freedom to take care of your responsibilities with more ease. This will occur when you start to participate in the situation instead of trying to control it.

Make moderation a rule this month so that nothing can block (or blur) your vision. This new segment of your journey may not feel like the smoothest or friendliest of roads right now. But here you are anyway. Keep your eyes on that road. Keep your wits about you. Assume nothing. Be courteous to everyone. Above all, keep your desires and goals safely in your heart and know that, through a down-to-Earth and practical frame of mind, you will have the opportunity to bring them to fruition this year.

The restrictive 4 year is over and you are in very different territory now. No matter how things seem, you are free which, I hasten to add, is a major responsibility in itself. Of course, you are still carrying some old 4-year baggage that you simply don’t have to struggle with any more, and it’s time to look for ways to lighten your load. Guilt is causing most of the excess weight here. Simply recognizing that fact will be helpful to you and whoever else is involved.

Don’t rush. Relax. Think. Weigh up your situation. Here you are, newly arrived in ‘Freedom-land’, and you’re not sure what that means or what your next move should be. There are just so many different scenarios and options to consider.

As this month proceeds, don’t be afraid to make mistakes because that is how you’ll find out what will work and what will not. January emphasizes the mistakes you have always made regarding responsibility, and the extremes you sometimes go to when it comes to fulfilling – or avoiding – certain commitments. Others have responsibilities too, and these are the ones that need to leave your shoulders now.

Of course, even in a state of freedom, life will always be full of challenges, mysteries and problems. This year, you will be learning how to deal with them more constructively. This month, you will need to focus on the space in which you live and the people with whom your space is shared. Your life is going to change this year and what affects you will affect them too. January is a time of analysis, introspection and planning. This combination may create an initial fear of not knowing how to deal with a certain situation, but there is no need to think the worst. There is something you need to clarify within before you can make further judgments or moves. Be present, pay attention, and be prepared to learn new things.

Before your new direction can be seen, you may have to recognize a misunderstanding that you are holding on to, particularly concerning people to whom you feel you have some kind of obligation. Seriously analyze your situation, as it is now. The door of opportunity is knocking, but how can you hear it if you reject the possibility that an alternative exists?

Know what your responsibilities actually are. There is a lot of sorting out to do. Be patient. Trust yourself. Spend time alone with no distractions. Minimize your activities. You need time for yourself. Listen to the questions you ask yourself, and hear the responses you give. Listen to how you argue with yourself when alternatives appear. Notice your resistance to change. Feel yourself fighting off your own changing reality and, consequently, your potential for greater satisfaction. Be aware of this inner battle and you will also realize that everything starts from within. Forgive yourself for whatever you are regretting. That will enable the healing process to begin.

Once you have accurately assessed your position, consider your own needs and desires. How do you want things to turn out? What do you actually desire in your life? Then consider the reality of the outside world; this changing, evolving, dangerous world in which dependence is an unwise option. Then ask yourself if you are free, or are you trapped in stagnation because you have outgrown the norm? Perhaps what you want – in the way you want it – is no longer possible. Examining all the details can lead you in a new and more satisfying direction. Notice where your old familiar ways of doing things are no longer appropriate or desirable.

Take charge of your life as you travel through these confusing evolutionary times. Broaden your outlook. Accept what cannot be done and focus on what can. Work on restoring the LOVE which your anxiety now threatens to harm in some way.

Guilt holds you responsible for everything that does not feel good. Never forget that guilt is the great deceiver. It may be twisting the word “responsibility” in a way that makes you feel responsible for someone else’s problem, or using its deflecting nature to blind you to certain matters that you really do need to know about. Life is now urging you to accept a responsibility lovingly and, at the same time, find a way to balance it with your own needs.

We are here, in this evolving creation, to evolve and create. We have been programmed to believe that our gift is actually our curse, but when your gift becomes fully accepted into the everyday fabric of your life, your “living” cannot be far behind. But don’t rush. It may take this entire year to figure out HOW to make that happen.

A situation which has prevented you from living the life you want to live, is coming to an end. If you are still stuck in last year’s introspective frame of mind, it is time to wake up and face the reality of your present situation.

Your emotions, and the emotions of those around you, may be running high. Observe and sense what is really going on. Your feelings are telling you what you really want by pointing out what is no longer available or desirable. Once you accept that something must end, alternatives will start to appear. And remember: although getting what you really want is what the 8 year offers, this must start with correct understanding of your current reality. Without that, you will not know how to proceed, or even why you want what you say you want.

At least one major goal can be accomplished this year, probably more. For now, however, unfinished business needs to be completed so that there are no loose ends to trip you up as the year unfolds.

January takes you back – so that you can define the things that are preventing you from moving forward. Recognize all the attitudes, beliefs, and situations that have kept you from feeling fulfilled. Consider those unproductive aspects which have been slowing you down; that consistent set of circumstances which always seem to end in disappointment, no matter how much effort you put into it.

Your Will is waking up and is expressing itself through those intense feelings you’re having, especially the rich feelings of self appreciation you had forgotten you were able to feel. Once you have made a decision which is not derived from guilt or blame, your self-esteem will rise to the level needed to fulfill your needs, and others will support you.

Endings must now be made in a way that will allow you to walk away from a certain situation without regret. Be patient, tolerant, open minded, forgiving, compassionate, and optimistic. Above all, accept and enjoy the feeling that is urging you to believe in yourself as your feminine Will starts to feel freer. Situations may arise which test your patience and tolerance. Their purpose is to show you that you do have a choice: you can remain dependent on others for your fulfillment, or you can take full responsibility for your life by developing a strong intent to fulfill a specific goal. If you choose the latter, you will have to focus on whatever your goal happens to be

This cycle will also teach you a lot about giving – and that giving and receiving are equal parts of the same process, as one cannot be achieved without the other. There are so many ways to give: your time; support; money; service; understanding; sympathy; creativity; etc. But giving out is not the only way to give. Sometimes giving involves giving in, giving way, or even giving up.

You will give something, this month. Just remember that in order to give, you must first let go. Finally, it is important to be aware that the transition from the wispy, dreamy planes of the spiritual 7 year into the much colder and harsher material energy of the 8 year can be confusing and stressful. It is difficult to live successfully and independently when so many aspects of your life are dependent on so many outside factors. This cycle urges you to ‘be yourself’, and then asks: “How can you be yourself when such a large part of you is lost somewhere in the past?” It emphasizes the pleasures of material attainment – yet makes it clear that materiality alone cannot bring happiness. It says “Hold on” one minute and “Let go” the next. Ultimately, this cycle is urging you to stop blindly pushing yourself forward and go back into the past instead, where you will be able to understand where your previous actions and beliefs have LED you.

Here you are, standing alone in the world to face your own reality, make your own decisions, and do whatever needs to be done not only to survive, but also to create a reality that you truly desire. You know that something has to end, but you’re afraid to know what the outcome will be. First, an important change must take place in your understanding of both independence and the power of the individual.

January represents the beginning of a year of endings. The new evolves out of the old but, by refusing to accept the emotional reality of your past, the old has no choice but to repeat itself – and you don’t want that. Your feelings must be allowed to move in all directions; forward, backward, to and fro, so that you can recognize the old unexpressed emotions that are still trapped inside you.

Visualize your life with a past, a present, and a future. Notice how your past has created your present and how the future you desire can only be created out of your present circumstances. You know you are entering a new phase of your life and yet you may experience great frustration, and fear of failure, while this transitory and temporary period plays itself out.

If you feel as if you’re waiting in the wings and are afraid you’ve missed your cue, realize that you are living in both the “letting go” cycle of your past, and the “learning the ropes” cycle of your future. You have no idea what to expect from the people involved in either cycle and they, too, have no idea what to expect from you. Be as gracious and patient as possible and don’t blame yourself or others for this month’s changes and delays, many of which are due to events taking place elsewhere. You are dealing with the realities of the world – and your own life – and there is a lot of ground to cover. No matter how many different circumstances arise for you this year, they are all connected to the experience of releasing yourself from the past.

Of course, life will go on, and you will be moving forward each time you let a piece of the past go. Be determined – but allow things to unfold naturally – as you GO BACK to claim your future.

1: Emotional honesty is the only way forward from here, and the only means of knowing which direction forward is. Frustration is a form of anger and you will need to let this natural emotion move within your physical body, let it rise to the surface and then, privately and safely, let it express itself with whatever sound it wants to make. Be alone because your healing concerns no one but you.

2. Only you can create your life as you want it to be. While others must be considered, their needs must not be allowed to eclipse yours indefinitely. Don’t rush. There is much to learn and experience before you can know what your needs and goals actually are, and how to fulfill them. Creativity is not just about the arts. It’s also about finding the right chemistry to bring about a desired reaction in any area of your life.

3: You are on a more creative path but the unhappiness you are denying can blind you to your progress, or make you feel guilty for wanting to move on, or for wanting more. You cannot experience happiness while you are holding so much sadness inside, and this is a chance to heal some of that pain. You cannot switch your feelings off and then expect to feel happy. A switch called denial does exist, but remember that if you cannot feel, you cannot think anything new. If you cannot feel, you cannot feel alive.

4: You are made of energy which, by nature, must keep moving. Observe the principles of cause and effect as your journey proceeds in the direction that your senses, desires, and choices take you. An effect can only be understood by tracing its cause, which may be deeply buried. Ask yourself if the direction you are taking is what you really want. What do you mean you don’t have time for this? This is what time is for!

5: Action can be taken, but you must be able to sense when enough is enough. You, or someone close, needs some peaceful and loving cooperation. Responsibility needs to be taken – and shared. This can lead to an unexpected and much needed truce or union. Use your light to help someone else shine. Notice how it is reflected back to you in the form of forgiveness or a willingness to cooperate.

6: If you find yourself laughing in what seems like an inappropriate way, it is a good sign that you have moved some of that heavy guilt and blame out of your system and that emotional healing is taking place. If you are serious about bringing joy back into your life, allow happiness to express itself as it arises and, if your intent is loving, ‘appropriateness’ will have nothing to do with it. Love has a sense of humor, and laughter is a potent medicine.

7: Communication, loyalty and friendship are emphasized. If an issue is boxing you in, or if others are telling you how you should proceed, a self protective reaction is understandable. You do not want to be unfriendly, but you are in no mood for other people’s nonsense either. Worrying about what others think is unnecessary. Confidence and relaxed interaction will come back to you gradually. It’s times to start believing in yourself again.

8: You are an important part of a team but not the star of the show. Cooperate. Keep your goals in your heart as you deal with this temporary experience. You are on unfamiliar ground. Others may feel out of their depth too. Be patient. Stay calm and be considerate. Loosen up and encourage others to do the same. There is a time and place for everything, and this is the time and place to use the power of gentleness.

9. It will be difficult to prevent emotional movement now. Your feelings need to express themselves in order for you to evolve from an old situation. Everyone involved needs to be who they are – who they have become. This cycle of love, beauty, and relationship can be easily damaged by indifference, defensiveness or judgment, so try to create a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. If someone else’s situation seems to be restricting you it is because you are at a point in your journey where you must continue to focus on your own hopes and needs and simultaneously cooperate with others. Slow down, keep things in perspective, and take everything in your stride.

December in the 1 year is a 4 month – and although the nature of 4 is to produce a breakthrough, things can seem very restrictive until that break actually comes.

Lighten your load by coming to terms with and expressing how you really feel. That is the only thing that can relieve your current stress and, only with this heightened level of realism will you be able to deal successfully with your present situation. December’s practical vibrations are showing you that it is impossible to move beyond your limits. Patiently go about your life, and find ways to sort out the details. Put them in their correct order of importance. Organize. Keep to a sensible routine. Be determined. Do one thing at a time. Notice the unnecessary problems that are caused by overreaction or indifference. Notice the opportunities you will miss because you have judged them to be beyond your reach. Notice that many human beings have become so numb that they have lost their natural urge to reach for the stars! See how much extra work you make for yourself by insisting that your way of doing things is the only way to do them. See how confusing life becomes when you get so lost in irrelevant details that you lose sight of the big picture. Notice how much importance you place on trivial issues. In the 2 year, you must live your life at a much slower and more real pace.

Notice what is happening to others. Fear of being overwhelmed by each other’s problems, or interfering in each other’s business can cause an unnecessary rift. However, no problem can occur this month that does not have positive potential attached to it. In fact, what may seem like the “last straw” may provide the breakthrough you’ve been waiting for to rid yourself of the guilt that has plagued you all year, whether you are aware of it or not.

You are no longer the person you were when the year began, and you have only touched the surface of your special gifts. You cannot succeed while there is still any doubt about your abilities. Don’t fool yourself here. Recognize your fear of success – your fear of greatness – which is being kept in place by guilt. Recognize your fear of what you still have to learn; your fear of the changes you may have to make. Some of your ideas can be activated now, but most will occur in next year’s creative 3 cycle. So, why not take a break and do something completely different from your norm? Your stubbornness, which is comprised of guilt and fear, may be urging you to repeat a familiar mistake, but you will feel disappointed with yourself if you do. And, yet, the fact that you have finally admitted this mistake suggests that you will never make it again, and that is real progress.

Events are working in your favor, but do not act impulsively. Instead, ask yourself: “What if I try it this way? What if I do this? What if I do that? What do I want?” Whatever happens, do not allow impatience to undo the progress you have already made.

With all the stress and sensitivity involved in the 2 year, you may have done things that were harmful to your body or frame of mind. Take responsibility for your health. Don’t cut yourself off from the things you enjoy, but do try to recognize your various addictions – we all have them – and they represent a large part of humanity’s enormous task of regaining its free will. This is a time to redefine your priorities so you can enjoy the things you like in a state of freedom.

If some kind of ‘duty’ seems to be restricting you, you can be sure that guilt, and not the responsibility, is causing the restriction. Guilt tells you that you cannot do what you want because it may be unfair to someone else. It is also important to understand that guilt does not allow healing, recuperation or peace in those who do not let themselves rest.

This year was an important exercise in the power of patience and, impatience is frequently what prevents us from adequately resting. Impatience is a product of guilt. Guilt stops the natural movement of energy, and energy needs freedom of movement in order to survive. Everyone has the freedom and responsibility to decide their own course in life, including those who seem to be adding to your guilt and fear this month. The time is soon coming when all concerned must take responsibility for themselves and stand on their own two feet.

A situation may arise that reveals how you have allowed others to dictate the course of your life for too long and that, although you have enabled this to happen to some extent, it will not be happening for much longer. However, do not fool yourself into believing that this situation will change all by itself. It will not.

There may be a mysterious element to this month – the company of people who seem different or strange; news of someone from the past; travel to an unusual place, or doing something with which you are unaccustomed or even uncomfortable. The key is to stop prejudging people and situations before you have truly experienced them. It is unlikely that you can stand your current circumstances for much longer and, therefore, something – or everything – must change in the 3 year

You no longer have to prove yourself to others. They are already aware of who you are and the extent of your abilities. Accept yourself as you are now and visualize yourself six months from now as successful and more fulfilled. What changes will have to occur to achieve this goal? Plan to make those changes in the 3 year. But for now, do only what is manageable. Patience, patience, patience is still needed!

The 3 year brings you into life’s lighter vibrations of optimism, imagination, friendship, creativity and communication – a year in which your own personal happiness is going to be the central issue.

Enter the new year quietly and optimistically. Observe what is going on around you because things may not be as they seem. In the 3 year cycle, appearances can be deceiving. The main question to keep asking yourself this month and throughout the new year is: “What do I want?”

This is a time of acceptance and forgiveness. It is also a time to realize that a long-standing problem really does need to be tackled head-on. Snap out of it! It is time to get back into the passionate flow of life! New opportunities are all around you, and offer a way to change your business or financial status, or your sense of security, in the most beneficial ways. This is a cycle in which your personal power can increase significantly when your understanding of a certain matter deepens. So focus! You are in the process of creating your own destiny; to live the way you want to live. This cycle enables you to reap whatever you have sown and, of course, this can have its advantages and its drawbacks.

What seems like a negative situation can be dramatically turned around if you will just look at it from a different perspective, and then believe in yourself and your ability to change things. But, before you go rushing off in what you believe is the direction of financial, emotional or physical freedom, remember that whatever commitments you make now will manifest next year as responsibilities.

Your upcoming 6 year also relates to family and love. So, before you make a decision, know that you may have to find some very creative ways to maintain a balance between new commitments and your existing ones. Once you have made a decision, act purposefully. Acknowledge the improvements that are taking place in different areas of your life. Certain assets may turn out to be more valuable than you thought.

However, be aware of the deceptive games that people play. In this cycle of new beginnings, origins, change, achievement, awareness and ambition, you may feel overly self-centered. Don’t worry about that – focusing on you is perfectly natural at this time. However, your eagerness to surge ahead may be premature. You will know that you’re traveling too fast too soon if you find yourself anxious, impatient, aggressive, or egotistical.

Be careful how you treat others, especially those whose cooperation and support you will need in the months to come. December offers a chance to put the first stages of a plan into action, so try to snap out of the ‘inner” life you have been living for the past 12 months and focus on your current physical and material reality.

Make a constructive change or move closer to making such a change in the future. Don’t obsess over your weak points. Accept them and work to strengthen them. Recognize areas of dependency that are still holding you back. This cycle urges independence. But how can you be independent if your happiness depends on factors outside of yourself?

Consider your addictions and obsessions – those things or people you think you cannot survive without, or you believe are holding you back. Commit to finding ways to become more self-reliant. At the same time, no matter how the world seems to be turning, remember that we are living in the age of partnership – an era when much greater accomplishments can be made by a group, rather than an individual – the age of “we are” rather than “I am”

Look forward – and see the potential awaiting you. Express your individuality, originality, creativity, and confidence. Look ahead rather than dwell in the past or cling to traditions that inhibit and control.

Being yourself, and moving at your own natural pace at any given time are the keys to making this cycle a successful one. However, being yourself does not mean going to unrealistic lengths to be different. It means recognizing and appreciating who and what you naturally are without putting on an act or downplaying your talents or appearance. Being yourself means being yourself. Nothing else. See the beauty in your uniqueness. Your very differentness is a gift from life.

Be patient. Just as you cannot cross a bridge before you come to it, you cannot enter a new cycle of time until it actually begins. Pushing too hard too soon can create a lonely feeling – a feeling that if something is going to be done, you will have to do it all by yourself. Relax with your plans. Maintain your confidence.

What a year this has been! So much emotion. So much reality-facing. So much diversity. And, here you are at the end of an entire nine-year phase of your life. Or is it eighteen years or more that you have been rehashing the same old patterns, conditioning and misunderstandings?

Many of your mistakes have evolved into experience and need never be repeated. And if they have not, this is the time to let them do so. What happened this year is helping you to break away from situations, attitudes, and beliefs that always stood between you and your higher potential. However, if you feel overwhelmed by this year’s experiences, or if you still cannot see that a new and different era of your life is about to begin, then perhaps you have some more accepting of reality to do

1: Pushing too hard in this unhurried low-energy cycle will slow you down to a pace where patience and humility will be your only means of moving forward. But that’s the old you thrashing around like that. The new you wants to look more realistically at the details and get things right this time. Pushing will produce results. A slower and more patient approach will produce the results you want.

2. Tolerance is not the same as patience. We tolerate that which we cannot accept. Patience develops by accepting all of your reality instead of just some of it, and all of your feelings and thoughts instead of just some of them. Accept, too, that there are some things you just cannot accept. This will help you release yourself from an old identity and allow more of the real you to emerge.

3: Notice the imbalance that occurs when you do not prioritize, when you focus too heavily on one area, or when you ignore the facts. If something must be put on the back-burner, so be it. It will still be there after another matter has been taken care of. Take a flexible approach which leaves room for the merging of needs and ideas. No one can win if they ask for the impossible.

4: You may believe that your feelings and thoughts are distracting you from other things, but it is more likely that other things are distracting you from some life-changing insight. Double-check the facts no matter how deep you have to dig, or how humbling the truth may be. You need privacy – but denial of your feelings and thoughts will keep you confined.

5: Slow down. Why do you feel it necessary to race ahead without a plan? You are in the delicate process of making life-changing decisions. From the moment we are born, we are set up in a foolish race that we are expected to run until the day we die – and we’re told that we are free! This cycle emphasizes how un-free we are. Accurate information and understanding are needed now.

6: This cycle offers a deeper sense of belonging by connecting you to someone who can help you, even if you think your role is to help them. This cycle is magnetic. It attracts. You are attracting attention and being attracted to something simultaneously. Certain details may be hidden, so don’t judge by appearances. 1: You need social contact, friendship, and support, but you also want seclusion and privacy. Your life has changed and you must accept the person you are now – someone who has turned a corner only to find yourself having a new experience for which you may not be prepared. The purpose here is to increase your appreciation of love, life and liberty, for all.

2. Guilt will try to convince you that you should have approached matters differently, but guilt is wrong. It was not possible to learn what you had to learn until now and, in order to move forward, you really do need to break away from guilt. If you feel emotionally drained, rest. Spent energy must be replenished, otherwise you will run out of steam – which is exactly what guilt wants.

3: A struggle continues only because you continue to struggle with it. And you keep struggling because you cannot believe that a certain struggle really is over. You are reluctant to raise your expectations because you are afraid of getting hurt. But you must start believing in yourself again. Then you will be able to breathe new life into your own imagination. The key is to think entirely for yourself, by knowing what it is you’re feeling.

4: Since your very understanding of life is changing and expanding now, you may need to question the relevance of certain matters that you once considered unquestionable. Resistance to facing changing realities can cause an uncomfortable drag on your progress. You will gain significant insight when you accept things exactly as they are, and put your priorities in the right order.

5: You need to be alone with your feelings and thoughts. Someone else’s cooperation will prove to be invaluable now, and your appreciation is all that is needed in return. Far from making you dependent or vulnerable, this is the inspiring experience of sharing part of your life with someone else without feeling indebted or infringed upon.
