NOTE: although it was still May 1 in the United States when this event occurred, his actual date of death is May 2. Events are always marked by local time which, in this case, means that both times zones were involved simultaneously.
A similar situation occurred with the death of Adolf Hitler. He died on April 30, but this was not announced to the world until May 1, which was an event in itself. However, many now believe that Hitler’s date of death is May 1, (and of course, the official version of his death is still questioned to this day).
The following article is written on the basis of American time.
Whenever events of magnitude occur in the world, a flurry of numbers arises from the impact, filled with information and messages. On the day of Osama Bin Laden’s death, America’s daily Creative Numerology reading (a 3 day, based on her July 4 birthday) was: “You need to be ‘you’ again; to breathe and think for yourself again, to live your own life again. You may be feeling optimistic, but there is no question that you have been hurt along the way and that healing will take time. Meanwhile, what a strange cycle this is. A vortex, stepping stone, passageway, a shifting of focus or scenery – and a reminder that it’s up to you to steer yourself in the direction you want to go.”
Good luck America. You are in the 6 National year in 2011 – a year of maturity, healing, responsibility and balance – a year to reinvent yourself! This is an opportunity for positive transformation – in the direction of PEACE.
On May 1, 2011, while a chapter of American history closed with the death of its arch enemy, there is so much more to this event than just the death of Osama Bin Laden. May is a 9 global month in this 4 global year, (5+4=9), and 9 is the number of endings, dramatic situations, and deep emotions.
The first day of May was a 1 day in this 4 global year, (5+1+4=10=1), derived from the number 10 which is most relevant since we are in the decade of the 10s. And it has been 10 years since the attacks of 9/11. 10 is the number of innovation and taking things to the next level – and 1 is the number from which everything begins.
1 represents leadership, originality and progress. And what would be the most innovative approach humanity could take at this precarious point in our journey? What could the next level of human existence be which enhances and strengthens life instead of tearing it apart?
Choosing PEACE over war would be pretty innovative. 1 brings CHANGE, which is what Barack Obama promised when he ran for president back in 2008. Such a change would be radical indeed! And why not? This is the RIGHT TIME for innovative and life enhancing action in the direction of forgiveness, acceptance and peace! And it’s happening. People really are starting to show more maturity and level-headedness and can see this as the turning point towards peace that it is.
People are starting to TUNE IN to the mechanics of how things work in our world, to the harmonics and vibrations of it all, and to the art of orchestration and the power of patience. We have entered the 2 energy of the 2000s, and 2 is the number of peace and harmony!
With all that has happened in the world since the beginning of the new millennium, the 2000s, people everywhere, including America, are realizing that we are all on this journey together. It’s not about competing with each other anymore. It’s about cooperating. It’s about pulling together instead of tearing ourselves and each other apart.
Martin Luther King’s birthday adds up to 10. He was born to lead – and his influence is still alive and flourishing. How appropriate it was that the day after Bin Laden’s death, these wonderful words from Dr. King circulated like wildfire throughout the internet, shedding loving light on the way ahead and helping so many people recognize how hatred gets stored within when we do not acknowledge it. He said:
“I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
Hatred is the absence of love. It is life without any light in it. Hatred has been running rampant in the world – old hatred which needs to come to the surface so that it can be recognized and released into the past where it belongs. This most bitter of emotions – hate – needs to leave our planet. Hatred is part of what we are evolving FROM.
The numbers involved in the death of Bin Laden bring our attention to many other aspects of the past – SO THAT WE CAN HEAL FROM THEM. This healing involves letting go of all the emotional charge that is backed up within us – all that FEELING that we’ve been holding in. The 9 energy of May provides the right conditions for a much deeper understanding of this vital healing process. 9 represents the past. 1 represents the present. 911 represents evolution – the passing from one distinct segment of time into another – the future.
The predominant numbers in our lives help us to recognize life’s shapes, patterns and gateways into the future, but it’s what we DO with these opportunities that matters. We cannot just repeat the same old actions of the past without getting the same old results. Taking things to the next level means looking at reality in a more mature and intelligent way. But if you do feel the urge to chant USA! USA! USA! or even “ding dong, the witch is dead”, then you should do just that. Express yourself as you need to. Get it out of your system now, because that is not going to be the way of the future. America is maturing and evolving, and if it wants to continue to be a leader in the world, it must lead the way to peace – because peaceful coexistence is the natural ‘next step’ for the human species, and it is what the vast majority of people desire.
May 1 was the 121st day of this 4 year. 4 is symbolized by the SQUARE and represents the laying of foundations and roots. Most interestingly, 11 x 11 = 121 which means that the square root of 121 is 11 – the number of illumination and inspiration – the number which turns 1 into 2 (1+1=2) – the number which enables one(1) to reflect upon oneself(1) so that self understanding and self acceptance can occur. 11 is the most prominent number of our times, especially in 2011 which clearly contains the number 11, as we transition from the millennium of the 1000s into the 2000s. (1+1=2).
I believe that square root numbers (numbers multiplied by themselves such as 11 x 11) are very important this year… as important as understanding what Dr. King meant by “Returning hate for hate multiplies hate.”
Humanity is learning about consequences this year, and that for every action there is, indeed, a reaction. The 4 year teaches us the principles of cause and effect.
May 1 is known internationally as MAY DAY – a national holiday in many countries which honors workers and worker’s rights. 2011 is a 4 global year, and 4 is the number of work, workers, how things work, restriction, detail, order and system. What’s happening to working people all over the world, for the sake of transferring even more wealth to the wealthy, is a catastrophe! 4 is a serious energy, and we need to get serious about human rights on all levels because if working people do not stand up against this assault, free will cannot develop, the will of the people will be completely curtailed, and slavery will expand.
Just as 9/11 is the emergency code for the United States (and an important number in the evolutionary process), MAYDAY IS THE INTERNATIONAL DISTRESS SIGNAL (derived from the French “venez m’aider” – “come and help me”).
Perhaps, with the emotional jolt that the death of Bin Laden triggered, we’ve been given another warning – another wake up call. Mayday is the last vestige of hope. Or are we subconsciously sending this signal to ourselves? After all, it was we, the people, who devised the whole concept of May Day to protect the rights of workers
In 1886, The Federation of Organized Trades and Labor set May 1 as the date by which ‘the 8 hour work day’ would become standard. As a result, riots and killings also occurred on that date. That event, with its connection to Chicago and labor unions, is most relevant to what is happening now not only in the USA, but all over the world. So too is the worker-related riot in Ohio on May 1, 1919.
We must wake up – very quickly – to the attempt by the industrial system, in the grips of greed, to control not only humanity, but every resource that our planet contains. But we cannot find our way ahead until we understand how we came to be where we are. Learning from past mistakes forms the firmest foundation for the future.
People are once again recognizing the qualities in President Obama, now in his 7 personal year, the number of knowledge, wisdom, intuition, dignity, planning and orchestration. People are recognizing the complexity and magnitude of the task – the job – of changing this cruel system – against fierce opposition. He too is a worker, and this is his work. And with #1 so prominent all over the world he is, above all, displaying effective and innovative leadership.
On April 27, when he released his long form birth certificate to prove, as no other president has ever had to do, that he is a natural born citizen of the United States, he said: ‘we do not have time for this silliness’. And how true that is. 2011 is a very practical and serious year, and we really do have to get practical and serious now. Our survival depends on it.
Interestingly, the vowels of ‘we do not have time for this silliness’ add up to 9, the consonants add up to 1, and the entire phrase adds up to 1. That’s 911 – the emergency code for the USA. The same applies to the very name on that birth certificate, Barack Hussein Obama. The vowels add up to 9, the consonants add up to 1, and the entire name adds up to 1. That’s also 911. We need to pay attention to the battle he’s having to fight.
We will bring peace to our world when our desire for peace overcomes our acceptance of war. To understand peace, one must see the futility of war which has always been about the acquisition of resources – not religion. Religion is the red herring that distracts us from the real goals involved, such as oil. One of the principle ‘rules’ of war is: “to the victor go the spoils……”, which includes the right to rape and plunder and rewrite history in a way that turns genocide into glory. And yet, when Donald Trump recently said that if he invaded a country and won, he would take the oil, the public reacted with tremendous distaste. Humanity is losing its inclination to accept war as inevitable. Governments and armies talk about ‘victory’, but what does that mean? The only real victory that could ever come from war is PEACE and STABILITY, on all sides. Victory is not about winning wars, it’s about ending wars.
War and all of the outer turmoil on Earth today is a reflection – a projection – of what is happening within each of us. It would appear that humanity has done some serious healing since the beginning of the 2000s and is in the process of recognizing that fact. The death of Osama Bin Laden is not about revenge. It’s about healing.
The USA is in a 6 National Year and an 11/2 national month. 5+6=11/2). 11 is the number of ILLUMINATION and INSPIRATION – and there is light and renewed hope on America’s path right now. A lot of people are starting to see what’s happening more clearly. And not a moment too soon. 2 is the number of cooperation, attention to detail, patience and right timing. This is not a time to rejoice, but a time to get serious about the future by being more aware of what is really happening in the present.
The power of 10 remains with us through June, with Saturday, June 18 (a 10 day), providing major potential for karmic healing, and possibly some kind of breakthrough in terms of letting go of old ideals and beliefs and embracing the new and original.
Mayday! Mayday! We must open our eyes and keep them open! We need to face our fears in the light of wakefulness and develop the courage to confront them!
